Honoring My Mom With A Small Teacup

A Small Teacup with roses

Hi All – Not only is this teacup the smallest ever on Teacup Tuesday, it’s also the smallest post ever!

In Memoriam

This post is to honor my beautiful mother.

Last Saturday she died. She was over 90 years old, and ready to go. It was quick and peaceful, and all the things you could hope for, for someone you love.

This little demitasse cup was hers. She loved it particularly because it had come to her from her mother. I’m so happy to be continuing the chain of mother to daughter caretaking of this darling teacup.

If she’s watching, I know she’ll be so tickled to see her cup on the blog. I hope she is!
